Adoption & Permanency

  • PAC's Child and Family Service provides therapeutic support for children and families brought together by adoption and other forms of permanent placement.
  • PAC's Counselling Service provides support for adults adopted as children, and for adults otherwise permanently placed as children.
  • PAC's Counselling Service provides support for birth parents and birth relatives of adopted children, and now adult adopted children.
  • As an adopted child or young person you may have some questions about what PAC is, and what it would be like if you and your parents came to see us. This information will hopefully answer some of your questions.
  • PAC offers training and consultation opportunities for all professionals who work with adoption and other forms of permanent placement.
  • By working in partnership with PAC, local authorities are able to offer choice, independence and quality support services to people affected by adoption and permanent placements.
